First of all, I hope you enjoy our web site.  None of us are experts in html, xml, dhtml, cgi, perl or any other web software but we do the best we can with the time we have.

While I'm not a photographer by any means, I have taken some pictures that you might like depending on your interests, and since I don't know what else to put here, here they are.

Astrophotography

Here's some images I've taken of the night sky, such as it is.  This is an exciting hobby that I would encourage you to experiment with if you are away from the interference of excessive man made light.

As time as passed my area has gotten so bad that I don't even bother to take my scope out anymore.  Maybe someday people will start to use their brains and turn their damn lights off.

My Scope

I have a 10" Newtonian with a computer drive.  It's a Meade scope with the Magellan II computer drive.  This allows for tracking operation without ever touching the scope or mount.  I use an Olympus omPC camara (very lightweight) and have done prime focus for planatary and usually use a Vivitar Series 1 70-210mm lens for scope tracked photography.  I also have a 500mm f/8 Vivitar mirror lens for the Olympus and  a Celestron C90 1000mm f/11 Maksutov that I use for guiding when I do prime focus.

On the right are some pictures that I've taken over the years.  Of special interest is the very lucky shot I got of the space shuttle (which one I can't remember) on it's way to dock with Mir for the very first time.

Potato Launcher

Just a little fun toy.  My brother in law made me this.  If you want to try this, don't do it in the house!
Hot Potatoes

Quake2 Levels

A few Q2 levels I've built over the years.  These were all made with Worldcraft.  There are both CTF and Deathmath levels.

Backyard Games

FM666 and I like to try to kick each other's a$$ in the backyard.  Here's a couple of our favorite ways.  Badminton, when you use real racquets and birdies, is not for the faint of heart.  Stamina and split second reactions are key.  Backyard Hockey, what better way is there to keep your legs in shape in the winter.

Music

What would life be without music?  I play Bass, Cello, and a bit of Drums, Sax, and Keyboards.  Here's some old pictures from a jam we had some years back.  This is me with my fretless Pedula 5-string bass, PT on the Rhodes, ET on the Les Paul Custom, and JF on Drums.

Kids

Here's some shots of my kids.  This is FM with a high follow through and Z launching a potato, and ?

Is this a normal child?
